The Problem

For years, working with PDFs online meant a bad trade. You either bought expensive desktop software, or you uploaded your documents to someone else's server to merge or compress them.

Tax forms, medical records, and contracts were being sent across the internet and stored in third-party databases, often without the user realizing what they were giving up.

Our Solution: Offline-First

We built PDFUp around a simple rule: the processing engine lives in your browser, not on our servers. WebAssembly and modern JavaScript do the work, and your files never leave your computer.

Merge, split, compress, and edit happen on your own device. That's what keeps your data private and what makes the tools fast; your internet connection never gets in the way.
